# APRide

> APRide is a ride-matching web app for verified students and staff of Asia Pacific University (APU) in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, also available as an Android app on Google Play: log in with your APU email, post or join a carpool match between fixed campus-area pickup points, and coordinate through Microsoft Teams; it is not a ride-hailing service and handles no drivers, fares, or payments.

> APRide 是一款专为吉隆坡武吉加里尔（Bukit Jalil）亚太科技大学（APU）在校学生与教职工打造的拼车匹配网页应用，安卓端也已上架 Google Play：用 APU 学校邮箱登录，在固定集合点发布或加入顺路拼车，再通过 Microsoft Teams 联系同行同学——它不是网约车平台，不涉及司机、计价和应用内付款。

Key facts:

- Audience: APU (Asia Pacific University) students and staff only. Login requires an APU school email: apu.edu.my, mail.apu.edu.my, studentmail.apu.edu.my, or staff.apu.edu.my.
- Pricing: free with up to 2 active ride posts at a time. APRide Premium is RM 9.90/month or RM 99/year (2 months free), billed in MYR via Stripe, with a 14-day full refund on the first purchase.
- Pickup points: 10 fixed campus-area points — APU Main Entrance, APU Campus, Parkhill Residence, Fortune Park, Endah Promenade, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, LRT / MRT Station, Sri Petaling, Bukit Jalil Area, and Other APU Nearby Pickup Point.
- Boundary: matching only. No transport, paid driving, dispatch, routing, maps, pricing, or payment; participants coordinate via Microsoft Teams or email.
- App type: web app at https://apride.net, plus an Android app on Google Play (package net.apride.app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.apride.app). There is no iOS app — on iPhone and desktop, use the website. Interface is currently English.
