How do APU students actually get to campus?
Five options cover almost every trip: the university's Campus Connect shuttle, RapidKL rail plus the last mile, e-hailing, a peer carpool, and driving yourself. What separates them is not only the price — it is who publishes that price, and how far ahead you have to commit.

Every figure above that is not ours was checked against the operator's own page on 27 August 2026. RapidKL revised several pass prices on 1 January 2026 and left My50 at RM 50. Timetables, routes and availability change without notice — treat the official pages below as the current answer, not this one.
Which option should I choose?
Pick an option you can complete on your own first — shuttle, rail or e-hailing — and treat that as your floor. Then look for a peer already making the same trip, which lowers the cost and the waiting rather than replacing the plan. Doing it the other way round, waiting on a match and improvising when none appears, is the usual reason students arrive late.

What is the cheapest way to get to APU?
Rail is usually the cheapest repeatable option — RM 50 for 30 days of unlimited RapidKL rail and bus on the My50 pass for Malaysians, or RM 150 for 30 days on the Rapid Bulanan Pass for everyone else — with the last mile walked, shuttled or shared. A one-off e-hailing trip is almost always the most expensive.
How do students get from Bukit Jalil station to campus?
By walking it, by an e-hailing short hop, by the campus shuttle where it runs, or by a peer ride arranged beforehand. Scope the walk once on a map with the weather and the time of day in mind rather than planning it from a number someone quoted you.
Is the APU Campus Connect shuttle free?
APU's own Campus Connect page is the only authoritative answer, and it is the page to check before you rely on it. Shuttle arrangements change by intake and by semester, so this site does not restate them.
Does APRide provide the ride itself?
No. It is a matching board for verified APU students and staff: no vehicles, no drivers, no fares, no payments and no dispatch. It shows you who is already making your trip; everything after that happens between the people involved, on Microsoft Teams.
How much does APRide cost?
RM 0 on the free tier, which carries 2 active ride posts at a time. Premium is RM 9.90 per month or RM 99 per year — 12 months for the price of 10 — and removes the cap, adds priority placement, advanced filters and a Verified+ badge.
